Our Service

We provide buying and selling services for digital currencies, including but not limited to Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin, through our website, www.BitcoinAustralia.com. By placing an order on our website, you agree to be bound by these terms of service, which govern all aspects of the provision of our services. We may amend these terms of service from time to time and will publish the current terms on our website. We reserve the right to refuse any order for any reason at any stage of the ordering process, in our absolute discretion. If you have already transferred your funds and we refuse the order, we will refund the payment in full.

Fees and Commissions

We charge a commission for the service we provide. Our commission is 3% and is exclusive of the cryptocurrency price. Additional costs may be included as part of the order quote, including but not limited to third party trading fees where required. Our minimum charge is $50 per transaction. Upon completing the order, we will provide you with a tax invoice specifying the AUD amount of cryptocurrency bought or sold, as well as any applicable fees and commissions.

Buying and Selling Digital Currency

It is your responsibility to carefully check and confirm the type of digital currency and public wallet address you provide to us. We will send the digital currency to this public wallet address, and it is your responsibility to ensure that the address is correct. If you supply an incorrect public wallet address resulting in loss of funds, we are under no obligation to refund your payment. You must select your preferred payment method and complete the required information on the order page accurately. This includes providing the correct account information and any identification documents requested. You must confirm your mobile phone number by SMS or phone authentication. If using the cash payment option, you must make payment for the order in AUD to the bank account we nominate, by direct over-the-counter or smart ATM cash deposit. You must use your full name as the transaction reference and keep a copy of the bank deposit receipt. We reserve the right to cancel an order and will refund any payments made by the customer in the event of a cancellation.

Identification

We reserve the right to require you to confirm your identity before fulfilling your order. We may also require you to provide additional documentation in order to meet our customer due diligence requirements. This includes situations where payment has already been made. We will only collect and use your personal information in accordance with our privacy policy. We collect your personal information for purposes including verifying your identity, processing your orders, and contacting you for direct marketing purposes.

Limited Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any loss, damage, liability, or expense arising out of or in connection with the use of our services or website, whether direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive. This includes but is not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, or damage to reputation.

Governing Law

These terms of service and your use of our services and website shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New South Wales, Australia, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.

Severability

If any part of these terms of service is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that part shall be enforced to the maximum extent possible, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
